Stanley A. Bunner, Jr. is a Naples lawyer practicing in the area of civil litigation. He received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, Magna Cum Laude, in 2000. He was awarded the Best Individual Advocate and Finalist in the Moot Court Board Thomas C. Clark Appellate Advocacy Competition, 1998 – 1999. While in law school, Mr. Bunner served as a Research Assistant and researched trust law in support of the 1999 edition of Loring – A Trusteee’s Handbook for Professor Charles E. Rounds, Jr. In 1985, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from State University College at Potsdam.
Mr. Bunner was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2000. Prior to opening the Law Office of Stanley A. Bunner, Jr., PLLC, he was a litigation partner at the law firm of Goede, Adamczyk, DeBoest & Cross, PLLC, a partner and litigation department head at the law firm of Salvatori, Wood, Buckel, Carmichael & Lottes, PL and an associate attorney at Cheffy Passidomo Wilson & Johnson, LLP. In 2014, Mr. Bunner received his AV Peer Review Rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
He is a member of the Collier County Bar Association and has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court in the Southern District, Middle District and Northern District of Florida. Since 2005, Mr. Bunner has served as a Volunteer Judge for Collier County Teen Court and has been General Counsel and a Board Member of Meals on Wheels of Bonita Springs since 2010. He continues to participate in these organizations.
Mr. Bunner became a Navy Reserve Officer in 1994 and was recently promoted to Captain. His clients benefit from his experience as a military interrogator and human intelligence collector. The knowledge he gained assists him in innumerable ways to be a more effective investigator and advocate. He also speaks conversational Russian.
